TPRD focuses on strategic planning, management and implementation of studies and projects that address the issues of Iranian trade regime and policies. TPRD also offers professional consulting services to the domestic business community, foreign partners, and international organizations in the fields of international trade and Iranian trade analytics. The center is comprised of four  research groups:
