Liberalization Commitments on Trade in Construction and Related Engineering Services: Experiences of Countries Acceded to the WTO
This paper studies the liberalization commitments on trade in construction and related engineering services of countries acceded to the WTO. For this purpose, the degree of trade liberalization commitments on the construction and related eengineering services of these countries have been estimated. According to the findings based on the experiences, a number of scenarios have been presented for Iran’s construction and related eengineering services liberalization commitments in its process of WTO accession. Moreover, based on the policy measures effective on this sector, the first draft schedule of commitments is prepared for Iran.
