A survey of the share of industrial sector in Iran GDP (at constant and current prices) with emphasis on the period 2001-2011, indicates two different trends. The industrial sector's share in GDP at constant prices increased steadily over the period 1989-2014; while its share in GDP at current prices increased in the period 1990-2001 and then experienced a downward trend during the period 2002-2014. The purpose of this report is to investigate and analyze the share of the industrial sector in Iran GDP through answering the following questions:
